I don't really know what this is anymore... sometimes a journal, sometimes a rant, sometimes fiction, sometimes fact, always for myself.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
on a bench in a park on an ordinary June day. It wasn’t a particularly beautiful park, and she wasn’t a particularly beautiful girl. She sat there, book in hands, reading, while the whole world passed her by. Birds flew from tree to tree, squirrels gathered crumbs from around her feet, and flowers bloomed as the sun warmed them from the coolness of the night. Maybe she ignored the world around her because the one inside the book was far lovelier, more meaningful, than the one she resided in. It doesn’t matter, however, because she will never know if that moment could have been any more extraordinary because she was too busy just then. Or perhaps the world inside the book really was more filled with potential and wonder, and the world around her had yet to realize it.
