I don't really know what this is anymore... sometimes a journal, sometimes a rant, sometimes fiction, sometimes fact, always for myself.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
She stood on her balcony overlooking the shipping dock. From here, she could watch the crews load and unload hundreds of crates day in and day out. As the sun set over the city, the sky pink turning purple, she crew below her slowed their busy pace, their shifts coming to an end. She held a mug, filled with warm tea, in her hands, and sipped. A man with a bright yellow reflector vest and hard hat, went over something on a clipboard. He pulled out a cell phone and had a quick conversation before moving on from the crate he stood in front of. She had been watching him for some time, and before she had the sense to look away, he looked up, as though beckoned, and caught her gaze, mid-sip.
