I don't really know what this is anymore... sometimes a journal, sometimes a rant, sometimes fiction, sometimes fact, always for myself.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
His humans, after putting food in his bowl and water in a dish, gave him a pat on the head on their way out the door in the morning. Bruce’s ears perked at the sound of the two cars’ engines starting then pulling out of the driveway. Bruce rolled around on his massive pillow, still warm. He then wolfed down his food, took a few laps of water, and sneezed. He looked at the flap in the door that his human installed when he was just a puppy. Knowing it would be cold outside, Bruce pushed his aging body through the opening into the cool early morning autumn air.
